Kyiv reports 212 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city has recorded 212 new coronavirus cases in the past day, bringing the total number to 130,039, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“+212 confirmed coronavirus cases (in total, 130,039),” the mayor wrote on his Telegram channel.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 124 women aged 19-92 years; 2 girls aged 17 years; 81 men aged 19-85 years; and 5 boys aged 7-14 years. In particular, 15 health workers fell ill with COVID-19 over the past day.

Twelve coronavirus deaths were confirmed in Kyiv over the past day. Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of deaths from COVID-19 in the city has reached 2,426.

At the same time, 1,328 people recovered in Kyiv over the past day. In total, 79,141 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As of February 6, Ukraine has reported 1,241,479 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 4,310 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
