The Health Ministry of Ukraine is developing special information portal on the issues of vaccination against COVID-19.

Deputy Health Minister Yaroslav Kucher said this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The Health Ministry is cooperating with partners to create special information portal on vaccination against COVID-19. This portal will contain all the necessary information so that a citizen who wants to be vaccinated or is included in this or that wave of vaccination can get all available information in an understandable way,” said Kucher.

He noted that the mechanism of the portal provides for two approaches. The first option is to create lists through employers, ie workplace vaccination. The second option involves open records for coronavirus vaccination for target groups of population that are not linked to a certain workplace, for example, the elderly.

As reported by Ukrinform, Chief Sanitary Doctor Viktor Liashko said that vaccination against COVID-19 in Ukraine might begin on February 15 or later.

The Health Ministry plans to vaccinate 50% of the population of Ukraine in 2021-2022.
