National Guard officers deliver 5 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Luhansk region

Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine have delivered five tonnes of humanitarian aid from European countries to Luhansk region.

This was reported by the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine on Facebook on January 19, Ukrinform reports.

“This is already the 21st humanitarian cargo. In general, since 2014, with the support of the Ministry of Defense and the Chief Chaplain of the National Armed Forces, Latvia, with the assistance of the National Guard of Ukraine, has delivered more than 400 tonnes of humanitarian aid to residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” the report reads.

As Ukrinform reported, humanitarian aid was transported to the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Eastern Region as part of the Help East international strategic humanitarian initiative.
