Ukraine not to accept Sinovac vaccine if it does not undergo international registration
"Ukraine held talks with all current vaccine manufacturers, which have undergone at least two stages of clinical trials and are in the third. Contracts have been concluded. We expect correctly registered vaccines to be supplied no later than February," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on the air of 1+1 TV channel.
According to him, all vaccines, registered in accordance with all international rules, will be available in Ukraine.
"If Sinovac does not comply with these rules, or any other vaccine does not comply, Ukraine will not accept it," the Prime Minister assured.
As reported, Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov previously stated that Ukraine will receive the first batch of China’s Sinovac Biotech COVID-19 vaccine within 30 days after its registration.
