Zelensky invites Sandu to celebrate 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence in Kyiv

He said this in a statement following the signing of bilateral documents in Kyiv on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The event took place without the participation of the media outlets; it was broadcast live on the Facebook page of the head of the Ukrainian state.

"I invite you to attend a great event for our country – the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. It will be held on August 24," Zelensky told Sandu.

President of Moldova Maia Sandu is on her first official visit to Ukraine on January 12, 2021.
