Ukraine classifies 49 countries as ‘red’ zone

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has released an updated list of countries in the "red" and "green" zones as of December 30, 2020.

The list is available on the website of the Health Ministry.

The list contains data on 194 states that are members of the World Health Organization (WHO). It provides information on the number of active COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population in each country.

In particular, Ukraine is in the "green zone", with 315.3 active COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population.

The "red zone" covers 38 countries, including Lithuania, the Netherlands, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Israel, Turkey, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, the USA, Moldova, Italy and others.

There is no data on the incidence rate of COVID-19 for 11 countries.

At the same time, there were 45 countries in the previous "red" list.

The "green zone" includes Bulgaria, Brazil, Spain, France, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, Egypt, Maldives, Kenya, China, Belgium, etc.

As of January 3, Ukraine reported 1,074,093 COVID-19 cases, including 4,576 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the past 24 hours.
