Kyiv reports 408 new coronavirus cases

“Some 408 new coronavirus patients were registered over the past day. Thirteen patients died. In total, 1,829 coronavirus deaths have been confirmed in the capital since the start of the pandemic,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko posted on Facebook.

In particular, 229 women aged 23-94 years; 14 girls aged 3 months-17 years; 146 men aged 19-88 years; 19 boys aged between 5 months and 16 years contracted COVID-19 over the past day.

Forty patients were hospitalized on December 25.

At the same time, 37,130 Kyiv residents have recovered from coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, including 161 recoveries recorded over the past day.

As of December 26, Ukraine has reported 1.019,876 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 7,709 cases recorded over the past day.
