Government extends Medical Guarantees Program until April 2021

The Cabinet of Ministers extended the current Medical Guarantees Program until April 2021, according to Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.
“Yesterday [December 21], the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution, which provides for the adoption of the existing Medical Guarantees Program until March 31, 2021. Moreover, starting from April 1 next year, it will be a different program, [it will include] other packages," Stepanov said at a briefing on December 22, Ukrinform reports.
The minister reminded that due to the Medical Guarantees Program basic medical care is provided at the primary care level, secondary level, emergency medical care, treatment of COVID-19, etc.
In 2020, 31 packages of medical services are available under the Medical Guarantees Program.
