Ukraine leaders honor Chornobyl cleanup workers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has laid flowers at the monument to the Warriors of Chornobyl and the memorial mound to the Heroes of Chornobyl on the Day of Remembrance for Chornobyl Cleanup Workers, the presidential press service has reported.
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak also attended the ceremony in Kyiv on Monday.
The participants in the event observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen cleanup workers of the Chornobyl accident.
