WHO regional director for Europe arrived in Ukraine

Dr. Hans Kluge, the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for Europe, has arrived on an official visit to Ukraine.
Kluge will meet with government officials and doctors, as well as visit a laboratory center where COVID-19 testing is conducted, according to a report posted on the WHO’s Facebook page.
“Over the next few days, Dr. Kluge will meet with the Government, United Nations, development- and humanitarian partners representatives. He also will meet frontline healthcare workers and laboratory center where COVID-19 testing is conducted,” reads the report.
As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 900,666 COVID-19 cases were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine on December 14, including 6,451 new cases reported in the past 24 hours.
