Govt allocates UAH 118.5M for mobile hospital equipment – Stepanov

The Government has allocated UAH 118.5 million to equip mobile hospitals to provide medical care to patients with coronavirus, Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov says.

"We are looking for new and different options for increasing the number of beds so that all patients who need assistance receive it. Yesterday, at an extraordinary government meeting, a resolution was adopted on the allocation of UAH 118 million for the equipment of mobile hospitals. They will be equipped in Kyiv, Odesa and Kramatorsk," the minister said at a briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He added that over the past day, 10,610 people had been hospitalized. And the number of people who need hospital treatment continue to grow.

As of November 17, Ukraine reported 557,657 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 11,968 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
