Ukraine reports more recoveries than new Covid-19 cases in past day

Ukraine has reported 10,762 recoveries from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.

"Some 10,762 people have recovered and 9,721 have fallen ill in the past 24 hours. Another anti-record was reported in Kyiv – another 1,002 persons have been diagnosed with COVID-19," Stepanov said at a press briefing on November 6, an Ukrinform correspondent report.

The health minister added that Ukraine had conducted 50,506 PCR tests to detect COVID-19 during the previous day, which is a record high.

As reported, Ukraine confirmed 9,721 new coronavirus cases on November 5, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 440,188.
