Highest number of new coronavirus cases recorded in Kharkiv region, Kyiv city

The highest number of new coronavirus cases in Ukraine in the past 24 hours have been confirmed in Kharkiv region and the city of Kyiv.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated this at a briefing on October 15, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours have been recorded in Kharkiv region – 651 cases, including in Kharkiv city – 562 cases, Kyiv city - 445 cases, Lviv region – 332 cases, Sumy region - 271 cases, including Sumy city – 225 cases, and Zhytomyr region - 269 cases,” said Stepanov.
The minister said that Ukraine conducted 38,491 tests to detect COVID-19 on October 14, including 30,334 PCR and 8,157 ELISA tests.
As reported, Ukraine confirmed a total of 281,239 cases of COVID-19 on October 15, including 5,062 cases recorded on October 14.
