Additional payments to doctors to be raised by UAH 3,500 on average – Shmyhal

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a decision to increase additional payments to doctors by UAH 3,500 on average.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"For doctors, additional payments will be increased by an average of UAH 3,500,” said Shmyhal.
He reminded that the Cabinet of Ministers at its special meeting on September 7 adopted a resolution on the allocation of almost UAH 6 billion for additional payments to healthcare workers.
As Ukrinform reported, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov earlier announced an increase in salaries for doctors by an average of UAH 3,560, for nurses - by UAH 2,500, and junior medical staff - by UAH 1,250 from September.
