Switzerland introduces quarantine for tourists from Ukraine

The Swiss government has included Ukraine in the list of countries, upon arrival from which people are required to undergo a 10-day quarantine.

This was said in a report published on the website of the Swiss government.

Ten new countries have been added to the quarantine list. In addition to Ukraine, Croatia, Lebanon, Libya, the United Arab Emirates and other countries were added.

Starting from Monday, September 7, people arriving in Switzerland after staying in one of the countries on this list must undergo a 10-day quarantine.

At the same time, Belgium, El Salvador, Eswatini (Swazsiland), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Mexico and Oman.were excluded from the list.

As of September 7, Ukraine reported 138,068 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 2,174 new cases recorded over the past day.
