Kyiv reports 180 new coronavirus cases

The total number of coronavirus cases in Kyiv city reached 8,992.
"Another 180 Kyiv residents contracted coronavirus over the past day. Three people died. Coronavirus claimed the lives of 142 Kyiv residents in total," Mayor Vitali Klitschko posted on Facebook.
In particular, 102 women aged 18-82 years, four girls aged 3-16 years, 67 men aged 21-81 years, seven boys aged 3-17 years were tested positive. Eight health workers contracted coronavirus.
According to Klitschko, 22 people were hospitalized.
Forty-nine patients recovered over the past day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,137 since the start of COVID-19 pandemic.
Strict restrictions will be renewed in the capital in case of sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, Klitschko stressed.
