Almost 8,300 health workers and more than 4,500 children have contracted COVID-19 during the pandemic in Ukraine.
"A total of 63,929 people have contracted COVID-19 during the pandemic, including 4,529 children and 8,274 health workers. A total of 35,497 people recovered, 1,590 people died," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The biggest number of new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours has been recorded in Rivne region – 143, Kyiv city – 129, Lviv region – 114, Odesa region – 97, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 85.
As of July 25, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine reached 63,929, including 1,106 new cases reported over the past day.
