Tkachenko, French ambassador discuss cooperation in cultural sector

Ukrainian Culture and Information Policy Minister Oleksandr Tkachenko and French Ambassador to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins discussed cooperation in the cultural sector and strengthening of their strategic partnership.
"Among the key topics of the meeting were common autumn French-Ukrainian events, the implementation of plans, which were agreed earlier with the leadership of the Louvre, Versailles and the Centre Pompidou; joint projects together with the French Institute in Ukraine and the House of Europe program; cultural education; tourism and popularization of Ukraine; librarianship and cinema," the Culture and Information Policy Ministry reported on Facebook.
Tkachenko stressed that Ukraine appreciates the exchange of experience and constant dialogue with the French side. He thanked the ambassador for France's active participation in the process of establishing a dialogue on a peaceful settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
