Kyiv city reports 63 new coronavirus cases – Klitschko

Kyiv city has confirmed 63 new cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 over the past day, bringing the total number of cases in the city to 5,665, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“Some 63 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed among Kyiv residents in the past day. Three patients have died. Four health workers are among them,” he wrote on Facebook.

Kyiv has confirmed 39 recoveries in the past day. In total, 1,848 city residents have overcome the disease since the start of the pandemic.

Among Kyiv residents who have contracted COVID-19 in the past day are 30 women aged 19-71 years; four girls aged 3-17 years: 28 men aged 21-77 years; a three-year-old boy.

According to the mayor, Kyiv city has confirmed seven recoveries from COVID-19. In total, 1,809 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

On July 7, Ukraine’s laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 grew to 49,607, including 564 in the previous day.
