Prosecutor General's Office finds violations in Kholodnytsky's work
She said this in an interview with the Ukrainian News agency.
"The official investigation has been completed. The facts of violation of the requirements of the Criminal Procedure Code, the law on the prosecutor's office and the regulations on the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have been confirmed," she said.
The disciplinary complaint against Kholodnytsky was submitted for consideration by the disciplinary commission.
Venediktova also added that she has only a working relationship with Kholodnytsky.
Venediktova in a video address on May 26 noted the inactivity of the SAPO and said this required an immediate response.
According to the prosecutor general, the study of the organization of the investigation into criminal proceedings shows numerous violations and improper performance of official duties by SAPO management and prosecutors.
Prosecutors, in turn, issued an open letter stating that the prosecutor general has no right to give instructions to SAPO prosecutors and denied the prosecutor general's allegations of shortcomings in SAPO prosecutors conducting procedural guidance in a number of proceedings.
On May 27, Venediktova called on SAPO prosecutors to provide examples of court verdicts issued against corrupt officials in 2019-2020.
However, the SAPO said that political elites had launched processes of resubordinating their activities to certain goals.
