Kyiv region’s coronavirus cases rise to 1,535

Kyiv region’s confirmed cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 grew to 1,535 as of May 29, including 18 infections reported in the previous day, according to the press service of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

"According to data updated at 10 a.m. on May 29, 2020 by the Kyiv Regional Laboratory Center, the region officially confirmed 1,535 cases of coronavirus (including 122 children and 286 healthcare workers) (for the entire period). Some 18 cases have been confirmed in the past 24 hours,” the regional administration wrote Facebook.

It notes that 220 people with coronavirus have been hospitalized, other 1,315 people have been placed in isolation.

Since the start of the pandemic, 394 people (including 27 children) in Kyiv region have recovered from the disease, 30 people have died

As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine confirmed 22,811 cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 as of May 29, including 429 new infections in the previous day.
