Kyiv city reports 42 new coronavirus cases, bringing total to 892

The number of coronavirus cases has grown to 892 in Kyiv city, including 43 over the past day, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“The number of Kyiv residents with the laboratory-confirmed coronavirus disease has grown by 42 people, of whom are 4 healthcare workers. Unfortunately, two lethal cases have been confirmed in the capital," Klitschko said at a briefing on April 21, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Among the new infected people in Kyiv city are 15 women aged between 25 to 67 years, 25 men aged between 18 to 72 years, and a 5-year-old boy.

As of 9:00 on April 21, Ukraine had 6,125 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 161 lethal cases and 367 recoveries.
