Health Ministry: 788 Ukrainian healthcare workers have tested positive for coronavirus

Some 788 Ukrainian healthcare workers have tested positive for the coronavirus Covid-19 since the epidemic began.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said this at a briefing on April 16, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“As to coronavirus cases among healthcare workers, their total number is 788 people as of today. The highest number of cases has been recorded in Chernivtsi region - 126 healthcare workers," he said.
Some 104 healthcare workers have fallen ill over the past day, Stepanov added.
As Ukrinform reported, according to the Public Health Centre, Ukraine reported 4,161 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases as of 9:00 on April 16, including 116 deaths and 186 recoveries.
