About 15% of patients with Covid-19 in Ukraine young people – Health Ministry

Nearly 15% of the confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine have been among people between 11-30 years old, according to the Health Ministry.

"About 15% of all COVID-19 patients in Ukraine have been people between the ages of 11 and 30. This indicates that some young people do not follows the recommendations of the Ukrainian Health Ministry on the measures to prevent the coronavirus infection," the ministry wrote on its Telegram channel.

The ministry noted that according to the results of the UNICEF U-Report project survey, about a quarter of young people do not know what actions to take when common symptoms of Covid-19 appear.

As reported, as of 10:00, April 1, Ukraine had 669 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases, including 17 deaths.
