Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Kyiv grows to 55 – Klitschko

The number of Kyiv residents infected with the coronavirus Covid-19 has grown to 55 people, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"Unfortunately, the number of people infected with the coronavirus has grown in the capital. Already 55 people have the confirmed diagnosis. Today in the capital, we have received eight more laboratory confirmed coronavirus cases from the State Institution ‘Kyiv City Laboratory Center of the Healthy Ministry of Ukraine,” Klitschko said at a briefing on March 27, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

According to him, among the new patients are four women aged from 31 to 59 years and four men aged from 43 to 59 years.

 “Two patients have been hospitalized in Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital. Two patients are in City Clinical Hospital No.4. Another two patients are in the Central Hospital of the Interior Ministry. And two patients are in self-isolation and under doctors’ supervision,” said Klitschko.
