Ukraine confirms 145 coronavirus cases
“The tests conducted by the virus reference laboratory of the Public Health Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the regional laboratory centers have confirmed 145 COVID-19 cases in Ukraine,” the press service of the Public Health Centre reports on Facebook.
Thirty-two new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
In particular, coronavirus cases have been already confirmed in: Vinnytsia region – 1 case confirmed in last 24 hours; Volyn region – 2 cases, including one case confirmed in last 24 hours; Dnipropetrovsk region - 2 cases; Donetsk region - 1 case; Zhytomyr region - 2 cases (1 death); Ivano-Frankivsk region - 16 cases (2 deaths), including 11 cases confirmed in last 24 hours; Kyiv city - 34 cases, including 3 cases confirmed in last 24 hours; Kyiv region - 24 cases, including 2 cases confirmed in last 24 hours; Luhansk region – 1 case confirmed in last 24 hours; Lviv region - 2 cases; Ternopil region - 8 cases (1 death), including 4 cases confirmed in last 24 hours; Kherson region - 1 case confirmed in last 24 hours; Cherkasy region – 2 cases, including 1 case confirmed in last 24 hours; Chernivtsi region - 38 cases (1 death, 1 recovery), including 1 case confirmed in last 24 hours.
The virus reference laboratory of the Public Health Centre and the regional laboratory centers test the samples of suspected persons and the established contact persons. The laboratory has already tested more than one thousand samples.
