Foreign Ministry: 11 Ukrainians being treated for coronavirus abroad

Eleven Ukrainians infected with the novel coronavirus COVID-19 are currently being treated abroad, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has reported on Facebook.

It notes that 11 Ukrainian citizens abroad are receiving treatment [there were 12 such citizens as of 11 p.m. on March 18]. Five Ukrainians infected with coronavirus have recovered.

At the same time, 861 Ukrainians abroad have been isolated.

The ministry reminded that one Ukrainian citizen died from coronavirus in Italy on March 13.

As of the morning of March 19, Ukraine had 16 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths: Chernivtsi region - 10 cases (one lethal), Zhytomyr region - one case (lethal), Kyiv region - two cases, Donetsk region - one case, and Kyiv city - two cases.
