170 Ukrainians evacuated from epicenters of coronavirus outbreak

As Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii posted on his Telegram channel, Ukraine has already evacuated 45 Ukrainians from China, two citizens from the Grand Princess cruise ship and 123 Ukrainians from Italy. In total, 170 people have already been evacuated.

As reported, on February 20, 2020, Ukraine evacuated 45 Ukrainians from the city of Wuhan (People's Republic of China) due to Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak.

On March 12, 2020, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced that two Ukrainians from the Grand Princess cruise ship had also returned home.

On March 15, 2020, a plane arrived in Ukraine with Ukrainians unable to return from Italy due to Slovenia's border closure. Currently, they all are self-isolated in their homes.
