Docudays UA Film Festival postponed due to coronavirus concerns

Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, scheduled for March 20-29, has been postponed due to the nationwide quarantine imposed by the government in Ukraine to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the press service of the festival has reported.

“… To reduce the health risks for the festival guests, participants and visitors, we have made a decision to move the dates of the 17th Docudays UA festival.  We plan to postpone the festival until at least the second half of April,” reads the statement.

However, that this is not determined for sure and will depend on the future epidemiological situation in Ukraine and the world.

The team of Docudays UA reminded that they prepared 80 films from 34 countries for festival screenings, over 400 famous people were invited.
