Four million tourists visited Kyiv in 2019

"At the end of the year, we all traditionally sum up the results. What are the results of the capital at the end of 2019? We repaired roads and overpasses, built and reconstructed schools and kindergartens, renewed sports infrastructure, created new tourist locations and facilities," he wrote.

According to Klitschko, 16 bridges and overpasses were repaired; 830 areas adjacent to residential buildings and driveways were improved; 130 km of emergency sections of heating systems were changed; repairs were conducted and modern equipment was purchased at 50 departments at medical establishments; 75 parks and public gardens were upgraded; 1,865 new places in kindergartens were created.

The mayor also stated that four million tourists visited the city in 2019.

"Kyiv has received 1,022 requests for filming in the city. Most of them came from foreigners. That's not all. We continue to work and change our city," Klitschko wrote.
