PM Honcharuk, minister Koliada visit entry-exit checkpoint in Novotroitske
“Fast operation, lack of queues and inconvenience is what I saw today at the entry-exit checkpoint in Novotroitske. I and Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk examined the checkpoint’s operation. We talked to people who were traveling from the occupied territory. They say that everything works fine,” Koliada posted on Facebook page.
According to the minister, the officials also discussed with border guards the importance of postponement of the norm which obliges children to have passports for travel abroad when crossing the entry-exit checkpoint. There is still a month to elaborate a new mechanism, Koliada added.
As reported, the reconstruction at the entry-exit checkpoint in Novotroitske was carried out in March. In particular, new modules for passport and fiscal control and shelters for persons crossing the delimitation line were installed.
