Avakov meets with ICRC representatives

Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov has held a meeting with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the ministry’s press service has reported.
"Today, May 11, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has met with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The minister met with the new head of the committee, Florence Gillette. She arrived to work in Ukraine in March this year," reads the statement.
The parties agreed to deepen cooperation between the Interior Ministry and the ICRC, in particular, hold joint exercises, cooperate in the field of humanitarian demining and human rights monitoring.
Avakov stressed that all units of the Interior Ministry are ready to further implement joint projects.
