UWC sends Easter greetings, calls on Ukrainians to continue building prosperous country

The relevant greeting message has been posted on the UWC website.

“The Ukrainian World Congress wishes you and your loved ones a very joyous Easter! We give thanks for our many blessings, remember loved ones who have left us, and ask God to continue to protect and guide us,” the UWC wrote.

The Ukrainian World Congress also paid tribute to those Ukrainians killed over the past five years: “We pray for the souls of the thousands who have fallen defending their families and their country over the past five years, and ask God to keep the defenders of Ukraine safe and grant them strength to continue their brave struggle. And we pray that peace soon returns to Ukraine.”

At the same time, the Ukrainian World Congress noted that it is difficult and important period for Ukraine because of presidential elections in spring and parliamentary elections in autumn: “We ask all of you to remain committed to its future. Ukraine is moving in the right direction and it is up to all of us to continue to help build a strong and prosperous country that future generations of Ukrainians will be proud to call their homeland. Let us remember that we are all Ukrainians – no matter where we live!”
