Government eases procedure for getting long-stay visas to work in Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the procedure for obtaining long-stay visas for foreign citizens to work in Ukraine, according to the Government portal.
The relevant resolution was approved at a government meeting on March 6.
“The Government also decided to simplify the procedure for obtaining long-term visas for foreign citizens for employment in Ukraine. From now on, citizens of foreign countries will be able to submit their documents to the Department of Consular Service of the Foreign Ministry, without leaving the territory of Ukraine,” the report says.
According to the Government portal, this decision will increase the attractiveness of Ukraine for skilled employees (in particular, for independent members of the supervisory boards of state-owned companies).
