Kyiv City Council allocates UAH 87.6 mln for Social Partnership program for 2019-2021

The Kyiv City Council has approved the city's target program "Social Partnership" for 2019-2021 for a total amount of UAH 87.6 million.

The relevant decision was supported by 66 deputies, the City Council’s press service reported.

"The target program is aimed at providing financial assistance to urban public organizations for social activities. Also, expenditures will be spent on citywide social events dedicated to public holidays and celebrations. In total, the financial provision of the program for three years makes up [UAH] 87.6 million. This will enable the city public organizations to further continue their activities,” the statement says.

Director of the Social Policy Department at the Kyiv City State Administration Yuriy Krykunov noted that Kyiv city consistently implements the policy aimed at supporting public organizations and promoting citywide social events for public holidays and commemorative days.
