This morning, a banner reading “Russia, push off! Crimea is our home” was hung over a road in Simferopol city in occupied Crimea.
Chairman of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov posted a photo of the banner on Facebook.
"February 26 is the Day of Crimea’s resistance to Russian occupation. It is a photo of Aqmecıt / Simferopol today, February 26, 2019, at 05:00. The resistance goes on!" Chubarov wrote.
