Czech Republic to send humanitarian aid to Donbas

The Czech Republic will send two trucks with humanitarian aid to eastern Ukraine next week, Radio Praha has reported.

“Two trucks transporting 46 tonnes of humanitarian aid will depart for eastern Ukraine from the Czech Republic on Monday [Feb. 25],” the report says.

As noted, the convoy heading to the town of Slovyansk in Donetsk region will contain hygiene supplies, warm clothes and roofing material for people living on the frontline.

The assistance is organized by the Krnov branch of Caritas Czech Republic and the public association "Ukrainian Initiative in the Czech Republic".
