The Danish Refugee Council, with the financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the United Kingdom Department for International Development, is launching a program to support internally displaced persons (IDPs) and those affected by the conflict in Ukraine, according to the website of the organization.

"The main goal of the program is to create new jobs for IDPs and persons affected by the conflict, through an investment contribution to expanding existing businesses. The participants in the program will be small and medium business entities in Donetsk, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions," the statement reads.

The program provides for the creation of at least 250 new jobs for IDPs and people affected by the conflict. Business grants of $2,000 to $10,000 will be provided as part of the program for business expansion and job creation.

The receipt of a grant involves the conclusion of a grant agreement between the Danish Refugee Council and the recipient. Upon receipt of a grant, the grant recipient is required to pay all taxes in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
