Ukraine needs network of emergency medicine training centers

"The experts, in particular the international ones, conducted a study on the quality of provision of emergency medical services in Ukraine. As a result, the recommendations were given, in particular, regarding the training system and core competencies of emergency medical personnel. It is necessary to pay attention to the system of training and upgrading the skills of emergency medical personnel, in particular to create the training centers in all regions. It is very important that the training of emergency medical personnel is of a practical nature. In 2019, the training centers will appear in Donetsk, Odesa, Ternopil, Poltava, Vinnytsia regions and Kyiv city," the Health Ministry of Ukraine reports.

According to the experts, it is necessary to develop requirements and provide funds for the establishment of emergency departments in hospitals.
