France provides humanitarian aid to health facilities in Donbas

"On January 3, 2019, humanitarian aid worth more than UAH 2.1 million arrived in Donbas from France,” the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The humanitarian aid included medical beds, mattresses, carts, furniture, clothes for medical personnel and other medical equipment. The aid was sent to military and civil health care institutions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The assistance was made possible thanks to the strategic humanitarian initiative “Aid to Eastern Regions” with the support of the association “Medical and Charitable Aid France-Ukraine” and the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine.

The project brought together military, civil and military administrations, humanitarian, transport and charitable organizations.
