Language policy of Ukraine is systematic and effective – Groysman

"The language policy of Ukraine for the first time in a long period is systematic and effective. The adopted legislative amendments are already beginning to yield results and change the language and cultural landscape of our country. We are finally arranging the television and radio space by introducing clear rules of the language policy designed to protect the state language," he said in his greeting message on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian writing and language, the Government portal reports.

Groysman emphasized that the government will continue the policy of protection and use of the Ukrainian language, adding that principles of language diversity and any cultural rights of individuals and communities would be protected.

"Our cultural diversity must be our advantage, not weakness," said Groysman.
