Ukraine, Kuwait to sign cooperation agreement in field of culture

"At the meeting on October 31, the Government of Ukraine approved signing of an agreement on cooperation in the field of culture and art between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Kuwait. The draft order was developed by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine pursuant to the action plan for implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to the State of Kuwait on March 18-19, 2018," the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reports.

The officials expect the agreement to promote further development and strengthening of friendly relations between Ukraine and Kuwait, deepen Ukrainian-Kuwaiti cultural cooperation, intensify cultural dialogue between the countries, promote the culture of both countries and lay the foundation for the exchange of experience in the field of culture and art between two countries.

The agreement is to be signed at the fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukraine-Kuwait Commission for Economic, Technical and Trade Cooperation, which will be held in Kuwait City on November 6-8, 2018.
