Financing of medical services to be carried out through National Health Service from 2020

Chairman of the National Health Service Oleh Petrenko stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"From 2020, financing of all medical services will be carried out under contracts with the National Health Service. From April 1, 2019, the program Affordable Medicines will become a classic program of reimbursement for the cost of drugs and will be operated through the National Health Service,” Petrenko said.

He also noted that the National Health Service will contract pharmacies and reimburse the cost of drugs under the program Affordable Medicines.
