The volunteer union Bevar Ukraine, which unites Ukrainians in Denmark, has delivered over 500 tonnes of humanitarian cargo to Ukraine over the past four years.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman wrote this on his Facebook page.

"Four years ago, the volunteer union Bevar Ukraine appeared in Denmark. It united Ukrainians who live in this country and want to help their homeland. The social initiative arose from a purely emotional impulse and quickly turned into an effective social movement. Today they equip Ukrainian kindergartens and nursing homes. Moreover, household appliances, special beds, mattresses collected by volunteers are delivered to remote towns and villages. More than 500 tonnes of humanitarian cargo have been transferred to Ukraine over the past four years,” Groysman said.

He added that he met with representatives of the volunteer organization during his visit to Denmark and agreed on cooperation with them.
