Sweden to invest $1.7 mln in development of IT-schools in Ukraine

The Swedish government has signed an agreement with the Swedish-Ukrainian non-profit organization Beetroot Academy to develop a network of IT schools in Ukraine. This cooperation includes investments worth $1.7 million.

The Swedish Embassy in Kyiv posted this on its Facebook page.

"Sweden has signed an agreement on cooperation with the Swedish-Ukrainian non-profit organization Beetroot Academy for the development of IT education in Ukraine," reads the report.

Thanks to the cooperation, Beetroot will be able to double the number of IT schools and expand the network to 20 locations in the country.

Beetroot, established in 2014, is a non-profit Swedish-Ukrainian IT company with clients in more than 20 countries globally.
