Luhansk region receives LEGO sets for first-grade pupils

Luhansk region has received almost 6 thousand LEGO sets for first-grade pupils that will be taught under new state standards for general secondary education starting from September 1, 2018.

This is reported by the education and science department at Luhansk Regional State Administration.

“The education and science department at Luhansk Regional State Administration received 5,997 LEGO Six Briсks sets in line with the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Education and Science Ministry of Ukraine and The LEGO Foundation,” reads the report.

The LEGO sets are intended for first-grade pupils of comprehensive schools in the region, which will help implement game and activity teaching methods under the new state standards of the New Ukrainian School starting from September 1, 2018.
