Hrynevych: Education reform in Ukraine impossible without support of international partners

Education and Science Minister Lilia Hrynevych says that the education reform in Ukraine would be impossible without the support of teachers and international partners.

She stated this in her opening speech at the international education congress "School of the Future - Chances and Prospects" in Kyiv on June 15, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, the event was dedicated to the end of the German-Ukrainian Year of Languages.

“This year is just an example of such cooperation: conferences, teacher trainings, the opening of the German Children's Digital University, cultural events carried out throughout the year, the training of our teachers who will work at EdCamp summer camps. It is very important for us that you help us every year in organizing and conducting the All-Ukrainian Olympiad of the German language, as well as the Teacher of the Year Contest,” said Hrynevych.

She also wished all participants of the congress strength and inspiration for further work.

International educational experts and Ukrainian educators took part in the event.

The congress is organized by the Goethe-Institut in Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
