The website of the International broadcasting multimedia platform of Ukraine UATV.UA has launched the Arabic version.

"Our online resource, created to provide the foreign audience with impartial and interesting information about Ukraine from the primary source, is now available to readers in four languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English and Arabic," UA|TV website informs.

As Safwan Julak, the head of the editorial staff, noted, the Arab audience is very interested in Ukraine like the Ukrainians are interested in the Arab world.

“In only a year, the channel’s page on Facebook has gained over 100,000 subscribers. And over 5,000 – on YouTube. This shows that the Arab world is interested in Ukraine. Ukraine is moving towards the EU, but relations with the Arab world are also important. This was also illustrated by the official visits of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar… In turn, we are working to make the platform an important media tool in order to build ‘bridges’ between Ukraine and the Arab world,” he stressed.

According to the head of the editorial staff, the Arab audience will be able to find out the news from Ukraine, the truth about the events that are taking place in the country. "Anyone who is looking for the information about Ukraine, particularly in the areas of medicine, education, tourism, history, economy, sports... can now get it from us," Julak said.

The website of the UA|TV international broadcasting channel, which is part of the International broadcasting multimedia platform of Ukraine, started to work on February 12, 2018.
