Government to allocate UAH 100 mln for development of vocational education

The government will allocate UAH 100 million for the development of vocational education in 2018, which is twice the amount assigned in the previous years.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated this at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"For the development of vocational education, we annually allocated UAH 50 million in the previous years, while this year - UAH 100 million. Enterprises need professional staff and they are ready to create jobs and pay decent wages," said Groysman.

According to the prime minister, the government tried to reorient the system of vocational education to the professions that are really in demand in the country. He also stressed that needed working conditions should be created in Ukraine so that to stop labor migration.
