President: A woman is a symbol of all the best in life

He wrote this on his Facebook page on the occasion of International Women's Day.

"A woman is a symbol of all the best in our lives - kindness and love, joy and warmth. Thanks to such women in Ukraine and for their sake, we will surely win the enemy!" the head of state said.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, in turn, said that women inspire men for new achievements, they are equal partners, and their contribution to social processes taking place in Ukraine can hardly be overestimated.

"In our society, women have long enjoyed decent esteem and respect, and their contribution to social processes that are taking place in Ukraine can hardly be overestimated. In all areas, Ukrainian women achieve significant heights, make a successful career, and at the same time they give a new one life, inspire men for new achievements and are equal partners," he said in a letter of congratulations.

He noted that Ukraine was integrating into Western democratic culture, which envisages the proper presence of women in government agencies, in leading and responsible positions. Therefore, the common task is to build such a harmonious and just society in Ukraine, when all citizens will have equal opportunities for the realization of their rights.

"Ukraine is constantly changing, but the main thing remains unchanged - our respect for women, our love and appreciation," Groysman said.

He wished Ukrainian women inexhaustible energy, inspiration and happiness in their personal lives.
